If my math is correct Ronny has 5201.5 total pounds already for an average of 1733.8

If the rumors are true, he may have an average over the previous world record....think about that for a few moments.

Are there any other lurkers out that to compete with this? Some other nice pumpkins already in the books.

It appears Ron has it pretty much locked up already! I'm just thrilled to average 1K for 3 pumpkins! Its unbelievable the numbers the top growers are putting up.

If not mistaken we thought GOTY was locked up last year before the guys out west started to weigh....how'd that turn out? LOL.

That said I think Ron may be slightly difficult to beat this year. :)

From what I hear Ron's got another one in the patch. I think it's called "The Pleasure Dome". If this one is his last pumpkin did he save the best for last. Very exciting stuff! Good luck Ron!!!! Grower of the year in my book.
