This is a great video of the 2009 Wallace pumpkin being weighed, if you pay close attention at the beginning of the video there is a tv show host describing what is happening. If anybody knows what tv show it is please post it here.

Great video! As I watched I could feel the excitement coursing through my veins. Then Ron said I'm back baby I'm back. With all honesty knowing how hard and how much desire and dedication it takes to do what Ron just did, it brought me to tears. Way to go Ron, you are the man!!!!

Congrats to the Wallace's! Its only fitting that they would become the first to grow a 1 ton pumpkin.
Congrats again Ron & Pap. That's the most obese pumpkin I've ever seen! You guys must have been feeding it Big Macs or some other junk food diet :-)

P.S. They don't even look at seed requests until after they pop the cork on the new year. Any early seed bubbles go into a very large bag...on the bottom.
