Hats off to a grower who was just about to give it up growing anything. Because he could never grow anything to make it to a weigh off. So this year, Jeremy Robinson decided he would try and grow a squash and no pumpkins. At Oswego's weigh-off he grew a New American and New York State record squash at 1,221.5 lbs. Ive been an email buddy of Jeremys since 09 when his pb was 8 something and mine was 145. I looked up to him then and still do today. He had a couple seasons that would have made me quit but he still pushed forward and grew this record despite working crazy hours. Awesome!
