In ten years it's never been about the money for me. Eastern Idaho State Fair, first place, twenty bucks baby! Almost covers gas, but lunch is on your own!

A lot of questions why I chose to head to the Deerfield Fair with my pumpkin. It was actually a pretty easy decision. It is a great Fair & weigh off. It is very family oriented, in fact I just got back from spending the day there chatting with parents and kids about growing big pumpkins and trying to answer all of the crazy questions that you usually get. It was a blast, and yes a little more money would have been nice but in the end it should be about having fun.

First time AG grower and the questions I get are amazing, I swear everyone thinks I had these shipped in from some magical land and I must have given them steroids, O and there is always the one who asks if there real I tell them "nope the doc just put them in last month"

Next year I'm looking to go where the money is but only cause I don't have any past times with growing them and I figure I might as well start where the money is.

you started off with excitement,a seed and expectations and I'm sure you met your expectations and now you have great memories and $600 too so I can't see any down side, Congrats
