Honestly....love the enthusiam....ask away....we are a silly bunch....trust me....if I was new I would be asking the same thing. It is a whacky subculture of the most demented kind hearted people you will ever meet. Except me of course....lol

10 years ago I found this site brasco....and have loved the evolution of the hobby, the friendships, and the sharing of knowledge that I have never encountered anywhere else in society. It is in our blood. And if you ned seeds or advice everyone here will always help you out. Welcome.

Been to allot of forums and left them all but one and that's Iceshanty.com (ice fishing forum) and so far I'm getting the same good vibe here as I get there. I hate summer and this hobby helped me get through it. Hope to get to know you guys and this hobby better, thanks for the welcome.

Nope Chris, I could get most of the names of the last 10 but I couldn't put them in order or name there pumpkins. This is my first year at the hobby but I'm learning. The note book is filled with info and things to do diffrent next year

I am the ultimate pumpkin commoner... 10+ years growing, and the only record I hold is the one for my own patch. Oh, and maybe the Pocatello record. I can say that, as I am the only grower in this town. Still hoping to break 800. Still, nothing like seeing your beautiful patch on a summer evening.

I have been away from this site for far too long.

I'm sure a world record becomes a pain in the butt with hundreds of growers asking this that and the other. When most knowledge is already out there if you just work hard to find it.

"But it's nice to see that some royalty still is kind enough to share there masterful knowledge with us common folk"

many of the really good growers dont always post here. some never post here.its all a matter of personal choice.

personally?,like other successful growers ron and i enjoy offering advise.ron does a lot regarding email requests and questions as well.

what goes around comes around in this hobby.one day your in the pent house the next the crapper.no ones to good to offer advise or help once in a while.at least thats the way we see it.thats what makes a true champion.
