Subject: Measuring your Birdbath Correctly?

Sorry for all the Questions..When measuring a Kin with a "Birdbath" feature, when measuring blossum to stem, do you keep the tape against the surface of the Kin or stretch it across the Valley of the Kin? Which way is more accurate and or correct do you think?

Do not put the tape against the skin of pumpkin in the valley. It should be tight. It should also be the largest measure parallel to the ground. The way my pumpkin is growing right now the tape is above the stem but below the blossum scar since it is growing over on its stem.
