what would you treat the plant with if it shows signs of pythium ?

I dont know how effective it will be after plant shows signs but Subdue or Ridomil as well as Agrifos is a preventive against it

I went back thru some notes from past seasons and remembered that any thing with mancozeb as the active ingredient is contact control for it. Dithane as well as Fore contains mancozeb as its active ingredient

Treatment is difficult. Prevention is much better. Don't miss an application of your fungicide, especially in wet weather or if you are watering more due to high heat. It cost me dearly this year. Better drainage also helps.
