You can track your pumpkin measurements here and instantly know the estimated weight while still in your patch. Once back at your house, you can export the results to an excel spreadsheet.

I just released version 1.3 with all the suggestions I've received. I'm trying to get up to 100 growers using the application so I can get any bugs worked out.

Please spread the word.

Thanks!

I like the program as well. The only thing that I would add would be the time of measurment.

I just fixed the program so the first time you enter the date, it will show correctly without having to enter a second date for comparison.

I will look at adding the time of measuring as an optional parameter. Thank you for the suggestion.

That's awesome, PumpkinFanatic. Thanks.

I hope you're storing all this data? Would be great to use this to update the pumpkin pacer/benchmarks.

tried entering my first measurement.
I am getting an error message "invalid date planted mm/dd/yyyy"

Can't seem to resolve it - can you help? I double checked the date planted date, and the date for measurements is preselected from the calendar setting so?

Okay, I just tested with an iPad and was able to recreate the problem you mentioned.

You can now use an iPad with the application and I also have the excel export working with an iPad now.

Let me know if you have trouble with any other devices.

Thank you for the feedback.

Hi Andrew,

Yes, the data is being stored. However, all information is confidential. I have several of the "Heavy Hitters" using the application and I know they would not want anyone to know their measurements, especially before any type of weigh off or end of season.

At the end of the season, and if users of the application are okay with it, I would like to provide the results to GPC or specifically Andy Wolf since he developed the new formula to estimate the weight. The data would not link the grower to a particular fruit, but if you're a "heavy hitter", you could probably assume who grew that AG from the data. Especially if they hit the 2K mark this year which I hope is done.

I'm glad you're enjoying the app.

I think it was not working in Google Chrome. I've got it now thanks. I'm excited to measure but I think my pumpkin only weighs about 5 pounds

I've been using this for about a week now and I think it's incredibly usefull! I am all about numbers! What makes this program really great is the Percentage increases in BS, SS, and CC.........It's really cool to see what the percentage increase is for the overall weight from the day before. If I was still in the military this guy would be written up for a commedation!
