\Well.. not much to say. At 1800+ feet elevation in rural Western New York.. High winds and thunderstorms added an additional gift-hail.. my long gourds are done-unless one plant pulls off a Lazarus...
I have heard of pumpkins coming back...
Best wishes to all. May success be yours.. As soon as weather clears- will be cleaning-pruning vines-
hope springs eternal..maybe I can still get one or two to the scales..BP-

ps--dont give up on th pumpkin plants. unless they were completely pulled up and shreaded? they can come back with a little fixin.

Yes Bill dont give up these things can be rebuilt as long as main isnt destoroyed. I got hit by hail(see my diary)at day 42 and taping 770lbs. I have rebuilt plant and now a day 66 and taping 1156 lbs and still growing. I know it looks bad but they can come back.
