I have some tall variegate amaranth and was wondering how to pollinate it is it self pollinating or do you have to pollinate it?

Self pollinating...Careful Pumpkin Bell it can become a weed. It requires a longer growing season than we typically have here to go to seed in zone 4

I am sure these are pollinated by the wind like a grain. So placing a bag over it and shaking it should do the trick
