Tissue test says plants need copper and zinc. I would assume that foliar application of liquid copper as a fungicide as part of a rotation would provide at least some of the needed copper? Is that correct?

Before foliar feeding a copper fungicide your not applying the TKO products from extreme pumpkins are you ? If so I would avoid copper sprays like the plaque.

Yes, thank you. I am growing the 1674.5 Connolly, a plant that according to aggc notes was killed by a mixture of TKO+copper. So, I am being extra careful. The leaves are beat up from a hail storm last week and I am very sensitive to spraying these already compromised leaves (linus) but we need some copper...any other suggestions??

Kocide 3000 spraying weekley starting late June early July all the way through end of season. Its a copper fungicide works great if using before you have problems. Also, helps surpress existing diseases. We use it on our 16 acres of pumpkins.
