I have a flower that started off looking like a male in shape the only thing odd was that the base was a little yellow. Now the flower is almost ready to blossom and the base has swelled a bit and has a glossy yellow texture like a female would. It still doesn't look quite like a female but something in between a male and a female. Has anyone ever run into this before?

I will get one after work tonight and post it. The plant is a 1421.5 Stelts x 1161 Rodonis cross.

Makes me happy that you´re asking for that. Here´s one from my 2011 diary...hermaphrodite at its best.

I had this happen a few years ago and I was told that it could be because my boron levels were too high.
