Growers in the shaded area should be prepared for potentially strong winds with thunderstorms tonight. So do whatever you need to do to protect your plants.

I like this one:

not quite as accurate when storms roll in, but pretty cool.

We got hammered in the late afternoon (Eastern Kentucky). More than 70 mph gusts.

We took a hammering from that storm and, when I saw it coming, I drove out to the patch to watch the damage occur. South fence down and several leaves toppled. Just another one of Ma Nature's cruel jokes for us pumpkin freaks.

Same here Joe, Im still out of power as we speak. I have so many pieces of locust trees spread out through my yard / fields and patch , that alone will take me a day to clean up. My patch looks like a tornado sat right down in the center of it. I think I would have been better off if it hailed on my 6 plants for a couple hours....lol
Joe, by the way, what are you doing this afternoon/ evening, you free? LOL

Well Brooks, after the cleanup, I'll probably sit down and drink some beer. Beer tends to give me a better outlook.
