i only let mine grow 2 to 3 feet before i cover them i do it like this so it dont take as long to do i have seen some people let them grow 5 or 6ft at a time before covering them is their a better way of doing it is it better to do it every other day and do 2 or 3 foot or every 5 or 6 days and cover them just wondering if their is a advantage one way or the other

Jamie,
I like to bury every 2 feet of growth mainly for one reason: roots are already beginning to form at each leaf node and, with the heat we've had, I'm afraid that new exposed root will burn up or dry out.

Just dont bury too soon or you can snuff out your male flowers...I've seen that done before and then people wonder why they have no male flowers for pollination.

I have two plants and find that I am just at the correct pace with the plants if I alternate days for vine burying.
I find that if I leave it longer than buring every other dat then the vines have grown too long for me to get in and do a good job and get those tertiaries off at the same time.
I consiously burried some male flowers as I have so many but that could still be risky.

I've found 4' to be pretty ideal. More than 4' and you may start to burn off some roots.
This year I've been on the 6' plan...lol.
