Does this do the trick on squash bugs. Having quite a battle with them right now. And if its good to use for them how often to use it ? I used it on Monday and things were good until today when I came home from work I killed 15 or so. Then I sprayed the plant again. Thanks for the help.

I burned some leaves with malathion last year. Ortho Max works good for me, no plant damage.

I am not familar with Malathion. Unless you are growing organic you can get some Bifen- generic Talstar- or some Triazicide or similar product. These are contact insectecides and they work very well. I am not sure, but I think Ortho is a systemic similar to Merit, which is great to have but takes some time to be absorbed by the plant and become active.
