I lost 3 plants last night due to frost(heaters tripped breaker) at one location. I have two plant side by side in another location that are fine. Has anyone had luck digging up an AG at the 4 leaf stage that's been in the ground two weeks and transplanting at a different location? Or is using a younger plant at the one leaf stage(still in a pot) the best option?

How close? You may want to go with taht one leaf stage...and get it into the ground....in a few weeks....youll be caught up.....Good Luck!

Yes you can dig it up and transplant. Plants come back well from getting roughed up.

At this point either will work just fine.

Thanks all. Plants are 2 1/2 feet apart. I'm going for the transplant...carefully.

I would do this again if needed. The roots were not as big as I expected and transplant seemed harmless. The frozen 772 Porier was placed in to a 3 gal pot and drenched with azos. I will see if it recovers.

I like to keep a few backups in pots, at least til the frost risk is over, usually until I've got the main vine and few sides tacked down.
Of course I'm not worried about WR, just want to get a big fruit to scale.
Good Luck. kevin

Matt Debacco sent me some seed from his 1216.5 which was grown from a plant that was mailed to him. However, not all plants are the same

Wow that's cool Dale Marshall had an extra 1723 start that he wasn't going to be able to get in the patch. If I knew it was really possible to mail them I would have got in on that :)
