thats the way it goes. a lot of people continue to discuss someone who obviously craves attention---negative or positive --- either will feed the illness.

i agree that id like to see more edcuational q and a like before. for me thats the only reason i post up. i enjoy helping new growers get over the hurdles.

lets take this site back to where it used to be folks

Not to be mean or anything but if youre so concerned about it why don't you post something about Pumpkins instead of starting yet another thread on the subject?

That is why i posted the question a few weeks ago " has this site digressed". As a person with no sides to take, i can see that it is a two way street. I know that opinion is not going to sit well with everybody but that's just the way i see it.

There does need some form of police to keep the peace. With out it trouble makers are free to change the good disposition of its citizens.
All small towns must hire a cop sooner or later. Look happin to Road house. We need Patrick Swayze to come and clean it up.

A saying in this area states "remember, when you point a finger at somebody, there are three pointing back at you". I think some of the problem is created by a language barrier.Heck ,me and my english relatives had some funny moments and we were all english speaking speaking a different form of english.

Point taken and agreed with Captain! but also, (not to be mean or anything) yet another example of how our community has "digressed" into unfriendliness and accusations. I have thought all day about how to respond to your post - it is accurate - maybe I should have kept quiet. My post was not meant to start "yet another thread on the subject". Instead, I was hoping sooner or later we would realize that we are a Community of People with a Common Interest and this site is meant to discuss growing AG's. When I checked in last night with over 400 new items, most of them attacks and bickering - I was overwhelmed by the negativity.

Please, please, please - let's get back to the fun and comraderie of growing giant veggies!

That being said..... yo WiZ, Eddy, Pap, Mr. Price, tallcorn, spudder and Darren - hope the starting season is going well for you - I retired from the pumpkin business today - plans are to start growing a pumpkin now but it will be a little late compared to the rest of yous (.... yous is a Canadian thing, I think!)

My season has started by doing what i do best.Getting the seed germinated and then managing to kill the plants along the way.
I guess i should apologize upfront for the damage to the reputation of the seeds i buy! But i have fun.
