Okay the patch is ready and hoophouses will be set out on monday and probably on Wednesday the plants will go in maybe later depending on weather. I screwed my season up last year by adding garden preen to the soil early on my question to all is Do you guys put down any grub ex on the patch before planting. I may give the patch another till just for an added measure any input on your expiriences would help. I had a tough time getting the weeds and rye back into the soil and hope they'll help the soil out for the season.

Kenny , with all the rain you are getting this weekend , you soil is cooling off big time . Better to put on the hoophouses and let it warm up the soil unless you have cables in the ground.
