Mycos30 - has anyone used this stuff? It is Mycos plus 6-4-4 organic fertilizer. I am using it this year to put at each node, but wonder if it might hurt my chances of a fruit setting if too much N given I'm still burying nodes and applying at that time. Thanks for any input.

MYKOS 30 is a blend of 70% organic fertilizer and 30% MYKOS or Pumpkin Pro (same inoculum). It is formulated for home gardeners to add to their vegetable and flower beds in one easy application. I would not recommend it for pumpkin growers as most of you have plenty of nutrients in your soil and adding more organic fertilizer might cause burning. The application of Pumpkin Pro, as most of you have been doing along with AZOS, Actiniovate, Rootshield or what ever practices that you have been using in the past are the best approach in treating buried vines. If you have been using a fish fertilizer such as Neptune's Harvest when burying your vines, stick to that. I would recommend that competitive growers should work with stand alone products, i.e. Pumpkin Pro for mycorrhizal inoculation, Rootshield or Actinovate for pathogen suppression. This approach provides the grower with greater control over inputs and hence, outcome.
The MYKOS 30 is great for mixing into rows prior to seeding with corn, peas, beans, etc.

Iowa, did you use it at each node like regular mycos? I didn't add much to the garden at all this year so I don't think it is very juiced up. Thx
