On top of Brush Mountain, Pa.

I have posted several ideas here on BP for the GPC, the most recent being the suggestion of a Half Ton Pumpkin Award and before that a Championship Pumpkin Ring for the annual pumpkin contest winner. But, nothing seems to ever go anywhere. How does one go about talking to the GPC and getting an answer? Who is the spokesperson for the GPC who might respond to a question here on BP? Is there a responsible party or does every suggestion or idea have to go through a chain of command type thing which works well only for the Army?

Thanks for that link Andy. I've found the GPC officers and volunteers all very helpful when I have needed information.

Give your region's rep an email or phone call Marv, I'm sure they can and will consider your's or anyone's ideas and suggestions.

marv i appologize for sounding negative however to be very truthfull i think most people who have read your posts over the last year kinda feel like your commenting just to get a reaction.likwyou havew this ax to grind with the gpc by continuing to stir the pot with questions and suggestions,then running the gpc down for not taking the bait.

truth be known marv i think some of your ideas have a lot of merit however, just because the gpc does not answer you HERE ON BIG PUMPKINS .COM? there are many readers who will take you suggestions and roll with them as they see fit for their clubs,etc.which is never a bad thing.

Pap, thank you for your comments. You are a gentleman. We met once at one of the Niagara meetings several years ago though I doubt you will recall that meeting as it was only momentary. I value your opinions and ideas. You have certainly helped me to clarify some of my thoughts about posting on BP.com. I now believe that my input here probably will never result in any desirable or positive outcome for a multitude of reasons and therefore is of no value. And since those postings often ressult in negative comments and ill will, why post them at all? I think I can hear some clapping in the background though not from you. I will now try not to post here in the future though it will be difficult as I have been here from the start. Thanks again Pap.
