Hold onto you hats cause the fun is about to begin.

Several years ago the Southern New England Growers ran a very well attended photo contest called "THE UNKNOWN GROWERS" We posted all photo entries on our diary of the same name.

Growers ( and in many cases their kids as well )would disquise themselves,take a photo next to their pumpkin,then forward same to a fixed email address for review and posting. Everyone had a great fun time with it.Elvis even showed up.

you do not need to be a club member,everyone is welcome to participate.you just need a good sence of humor.

At the end of the season everyone on B.P.got to vote on their favorite "UNKNOWN GROWER" photo. we also gave out awards for the top three contest winners.

Just wanted to let everyone know, get your disquises and ideas ready. we will make an official announcement and post up the contest details later in the summer.

i remember the green goblin very well. a lot of thought went into his disquise. does anyone remember who the other two winners were? ill give you a hint. one was a female and lived (i think ) in california )she looked a lot like a viking queen. sorry i forgot the other one---old age-lol
