I use a dosatron on my berry farm. a little loud, but works great. it uses the water pressure to operate so no electricity is required. It makes a steady clunk clunk sound as it operates. I used it for heavy fish emulsion products and it never clogs. It is rated for use with acids so this year I will use it to inject high strength vinegar for pH adjustment and line cleaning, too. I think it has injection ratios from 50:1 to 500:1. I use 200:1 fish emulsion in all irrigation water.

EZ Flow and MixRite are two other very dependable brands which use water pressure to operate. I use the MixRite due to its low-flow capabilty. With a flow meter mounted before the injector, I can precisely meter the amount of water desired. I can also by-pass the injector if I don't want to add chemicals.
One thing about using an injector with drip systems is to allow your drip tape to fully flow with water before routing nutrients through the injector. Otherwise, you get a big slug of nutrients to the plants which receive water first. Always allow enough water to flow through the drip tape after injecting to fully utilize your applied nutrients or pesticides.

Thanks for the input Ben and Joe.. Slight BP name change required for second (home) computer. Thicker viscousity was a concern and you pegged it without my asking. Chris and Ben you can add data after Saturdays meeting.
Thanks again

injectors work well. its a matter of what system is best for your situation. we switched to using three 275 gal water tanks a couple years ago and are very pleased with the results.( also no need to make soil soup from a brewer once we went to the tanks)----although i feel the tea brewers are great for small patches. we drench and will also overhead as needed from the mixture in these tanks. we also use a professional back pack sprayer for misting on nutrients, fungicides and other products as needed.
