Okay here it is My name is Kenny and I've been growing for 3 years. I'm a public servant (I'd rather not say what my profession is). I'm a former Marine. My hobbies include Playing the Bagpipes, Hunting and scuba diving. I enjoy archery and shooting my rifles and pistols. I like to think of myself as a red blooded American that loves this country. I enjoy helping veterans and being part of helping certain veteran groups. I often send care packages to our Brothers serving overseas. I've been growing for 3 years and Have been able to meet some of the worlds best growers. This hobby has allowed me to be part of some of the best pumpkin growing around. My goal in this hobby is to be a consistent grower. Also I've been working with some state entities to bring pumpkin growing to the offender population. Last year one of the facilities grew a 291 lbs. Pumpkin and have decided to incorporate the program into a full gardening program. I feel proud to have some input in that. I have been fortunate to be part of the SNGPG. My friend Mike Oliver has been a real inspiration and has helped me with issues associated with disease prevention and better growing . I live by the motto " By the grace of God I have what I have" My pumpkin saying is "A house without a patch is like a car without an engine"

On the bright side: grass, flowers and weeds are coming up here, trees are budding, I added 2 yards of compost and gypsum to the patch yesterday, Cards and other MLB teams are in Spring training, and pre-spawn Smallie fishing is on.
