Hold on...where are you getting those passing yard total? Box score I'm looking at shows 282 for the giants and 266 for the pats.

I think what it is is your numbers don't take into account yards lost via sack...

(Check the team stats instead of the individual stats http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=320205017)

I guess there's grey area on the definition "passing yards". I was pumped because I thought I'd won a seed but I can abide by your numbers.
