A great big thank you goes out to the NEGPGA directors and its members. The winter dinner was a great time for me. The food was great and the location was fabulous. Tom Privitera's presentation was very informative and beneficial. Peter Denigris and Carl Moore revealed some great secrets about how they grew the 1668.5. Matt Debacco did well in his "Stump the Chump" session. Really got to have some good conversations with some great growers. The reception from the growers to my Ammendment estimator was better than I anticipated.

All in all I dont think the day could of been better. Really looking forward to the season now.

Once again Thanks for the great day everyone.

On behalf of all the directors of the NEGPGA, Mary Ann and I would like to thank our guest speakers, and all you folks that attended. You are what makes these gatherings a success. We feel strongly it is about the pumpkins and people,(not always in that order). Happy New Growing Season!
George

Excellent job everyone - it was a great afternoon. Bri- how do we access your estimator? It's obvious you put a lot of work into it.

Bry- Thanks for the kind words on my talk. I know you spent many hours developing your Soil Amendment estimator and I am honored that you value my input. As always feel free to bounce ideas off me as I will give you my scientific opinion.

George and Mary Ann- Thanks for having me give an informal talk as it is always nice to get some feed back from other growers. Getting a chance to listen and talking with the growers present was without the stress of moving pumpkins.

The dinner was great as I enjoyed the soup, corn fritters, salad, steak, fish, scallops, mashed squash, turkey, cinnamon pastry, and even two ice creams;-)
