What are the odds of putting together a 1000 pound pumpkin, A world famous pumpkin carver, and a venue to showcase this in the month of February.

As great as the odds are, the opportunity to witness this is very real and in fact will happen.

The GPC are pleased to announce that Ray Villafane will be present in Las Vegas to show off his carving skills.

This will take place Friday night February 24th starting at 6pm and until the carving is complete.


Ray Villafane did the carvings at the NEW YORK BOTTANICAL GARDENS and has starred on the Food Network

Jim you would have needed a camera for this one.
Originally our plan was to have a couple Las Vegas Show Girls.
But due to budget restraints our President has declined my request.
So now we're faced with another possibility!!!!!!!!!
And this is where it gets questionable.
Don Young and myself will probably take on this role and do our best to be Las Vegas Show Girls. (a real picture moment) ( I found a place to rent the costumes)
Remember me in the orange suite in Niagara, trust me it has only gotten worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Neither of us really like this idea BUT it is Vegas.

Anyway, the Pres says if there is enough public pressure, he'll consider changing his mind!!!!!!

Please post here and vote for Real Show Girls and save Don and I from EMBARASSING ourselves!!!!!

How about a Las Vegas Show Girl competition? WiZ, Eddy, and others if they want to try it. Have the attendee's vote on who does the best Las Vegas Show Girl imitation. Maybe you can get Dave to offer up a 1495 or 1807 seed for the winner.

Soopr I like to donate seeds to the growers & you can bet there will be opportunities to get your hands on 1421.5, 1495, 1807.5, 904,.....

Catch is you gotta be there to get'um, not sure what Ice Man has up his sleeve (or head dress) but you can bet it will be fun & there will be plenty of seeds to spread around!!!!

Just to clarify, we, as in the Wiz, Don or myself will not need to dress up.
I sent Dave, our Pres. a picture and he said, and I quote.
"please book the real show girls as I couldn't nor wouldn't put the delegate through that."

The GPC is pleased to announce that there will be real Vegas Show girls present on Friday night for photo opps and to mingle with the crowd.

They will also be present to help in the Awards night on Saturday.

These Show Girls are exactly that, Girls who work at family oriented shows all along the Vegas Strip.
