i would like to see some featured grower chats again, but need to structure it so growers are not bombarded with questions.i was thinking of either let grower talk about a certain topic or have maybe 10 pre arranged questions for them to answer.i would love some feedback on other ideas to make it better for featured growers . also , maybe some of the big boys could reply and let us know what would make it more appealing for them.i think it would be a great help for growers that cant make the seminars and would like to know what the hh'ers do.anyway, let me know what you think.thanks

I could sure use something like that. I put allot of time and money in to growing. Then make mistakes like drowning seeds. I'm finding pumpkin growing is a personal. Based on different areas of the planet. I do thank all the members who share there hard earned experience.

Great idea Gary, hearing from seasoned growers with 'real' experience and know how would be refreshing.

Too often newer growers get let down the wrong path by taking advice from someone trying to help but really has no practical experience or knowledge based on actual results in the patch.

okay, after talking with people in chat and reading the responses hear, sounds as if its something that could be good for everyone.what i'm thinking is, instead of questions , maybe each week have a topic that is relative to the season, for example have that weeks featured grower write an article about seed starting just before time to germinate.i will ask ken , of course, to see if this is possible.what we dont want is growers disagreeing and causing arguments or saying someone is wrong, the featured growers will be anonymous to keep this from happening, after all , what works for one is not neccesarily good for another grower, these articles will be their opinions only, and should not be looked at as the definitive answer for all situations.

oh, and the featured growers will be from the top 20 growers and maybe a few others that have expertise in a certain field or subject, so the info will be from the best in the business, and will try to match topics with growers known to be well versed in that area.

What if say 1o more or less wrights a story on say seed starting all at the some time then publish them at different times at way there story wont be affected by what the others grower say. just an idea
