If you've ever wondered what happened to someone who grew pumpkins, ask here and maybe someone else will see it and let you know!?

I will start off by asking where is Fred Macari and what is he up to? The first "big" pumpkin I grew was a 715 pounder off the 1173 Macari a few years back.

ron and i see freddie a few times a year .in fact he attended my 70th birthday party last week.
hes doing well, we ask him all the time to get back to growing but i think he just lost interest.he was a hell of a gardener for sure.

Dave Pitura is still growing. He was wiped out two years in a row, in 2009 and 2010. I spoke to him in mid summer this year and he had some pumpkins going but they werent that great. I told him I hoped to see him at the weigh off's in the fall, but didnt see him.

Norm Craven grows pumpkins along with many other giant veggies every year. He sometimes just dosnt show up at the GPC weigh offs so you donet see his name. He mainly supports his local fairs and well as the Royal Winter Fair in Toronto.

hey.. I have only been gone for about 5-6 years..lol.. only growing small pumpkins now.. 4 daughters and each one has something different to do each evening.. one has a pulling truck and is on the trap team one take piano lessons..one tap and ballet..etc.. maybe i'll try a big one this year....
