The Annapolis Valley Giant Vegetable Growers will be having our 1st Seed Lottery in January, but it's not like any other lottery, EVERYONE WINS!! Thanks to the generosity of some of the best growers ( and best people ) we will be offering auction caliber seeds, the same seeds you are seeing in the auctions like 1789 Wallace (2), 1647 Wallace (2), 1404 Bryson and 1818 Bryson to name a few.

HERE IS THE KICKER- We are only selling as many tickets as we have seeds so EVERYONE who buys a ticket will win!!

Example: If we have 75 seeds donated, we will only sell 75 tickets so for $20 two people will win a 1789 Wallace. Two people will win a 1647 Wallace, one will win a 1404 Bryson and so on. In early to mid January I will post the seeds here with an advanced warning when the tickets will go on sale. A confirmation here on Bigpumpkins by posting your name will reserve your ticket.

Our first fund raiser offered some great seeds at a very reasonable price. This lottery will do the same.

Ok my bad. The last sentence in the example:

I should have worded it better. In January I will post the complete list at which time people can post their name, and BP handle, and your ticket(s) will be reserved.

Sorry for the confusion. Same great seeds for $20, but no need to post now until the complete list is complete and I will know just how many tickets we will have to sell,

I'm going to start a new post. You guys are awesome! If you want to reserve a ticket or two before the list is complete, who am I to stop you. I have all your names which will go on the new post. Depending on the response, the first people to post their names will get the tickets so there may be a cut.

The easiest way to pay would be paypal, however, if you want to send a cheque that's fine too, in US dollars. It will just take longer to confirm everyones payment prior to the draw.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY NOW. I expect to know the exact number of seeds in the draw very soon, but I don't want anyone to send money only to learn that they missed the cut.

I'll post the entire seed lot soon. There is still room but getting filled up pretty quickly.

I would like you to keep me on the list for anytime you have seeds. If you would like any of my seeds I would gladly mail you some. I have a few seed from the topsfield fair the 1668 from Peter's pumpkin he said I could mail them to you.
