BUT, you have to prove it to me.....
HOW HIGH ARE YOU..... now we are talking about altitude here..... How high do you grow? We believe the higher the harder....it iZ. There are ways to determine your altitude of where you grow. GPS....etc... but I thought this may be interesting to find out. BECAUSE the next questions iZ:

so what is the rating scale? weight in lbs + altitude in feet = score? then a 1 lb fruit at 7000ft would beat a 1600lb fruit at 4600ft. weight x altitude = score? that would penalize both low weight and low altitude.

Baker City Oregon is where I am. Coldest spot on the planet is my backyard. Last frost this year was june io. First frost was Aug 25. Funny thing was lt didn't bite my pumpkins until mid to late sept. Won't say what my largest has been. Growing radishes and spinach is a challenge here at 3400 ft. We are lagging way behind on precip. Not even snow on the ground. 43 dgs. right now. Strange.

I'm glad you clarified that it was altitude WiZZy. I guess my 12(twelve)feet above sea level doesn't count.

Mine 2100 ft 1137. Ive grown bigger but they blew up. Where's Eddy? He's wayyyyyy up there! Gotta be over 3500ft, and he's over a 1000 lbs. should altitude make a difference though? Maybe I can use tha as an excuse!

jack66, did you use a green house? We have frost almost year around at our place in the mountains at 7,300 ft here in CA. Maybe 45 days between no snow on the ground and the next frost the last 2 years.
