Over the years I have had several pumpkin go down to rot, either from a spot on the pumpkin that eventually rotted through to the cavity or rot that started in the cavity and rotted the pumpkin from the inside out. I would love to hear what others have to say about this and possibly ideas to prevent it in the future.

Could be a virus or disease...or Dill ring..To many reasons for failure with out more details. A good preventative fungicide program is needed.

How is your soil drainage? If it is constantly overly moist, some fungus diseases will flourish. I solved a lot of my problems by digging drainage ditches and using the soil removed to raise up the growing beds.

I tried some of those "Psyco Chemicals" in the late 60's.

Now I'm seeing Huge Orange(ish) globes, and HEARING poorly translated German gibberish on my computer screen.

WOAH!!

Anybody seen my bag of CO2??

Me to moon. But in my case my soil sucks. Next year I will do my best to get it more balanced, And use Eagle and Daconil

I think someone has a major soft spot that has resulted in cranial decay of grey matter..Appears to be treatable under the right regiment of pharamacuticals.

Use early in the season when vines are running.

Yourine (.05 % Nitrogin)

Myine (95% Bud Light)
