I use Firefox as my browser (not a big fan of IE)I have used it for a very long time now, I have had no issues posting pics to my diary on bp.com at all up till now.

Now I have not posted a pic in a while so maybee something has changed with either firefox or bp.com in that time. I know I upgraded firefox not to long ago, and I also know on the diary submission page it says to use either netscape or IE. I am also aware of the 6MB size limit of photos.

My question is anybody out there using firefox and can sucessfully submit a photo to there diary? if you can what version is your firefox?

I can submit text with no issues, when I have a photo attached it just hangs and says waiting for bp.com in the status bar.

Something has changed....I can't get pictures on BP.COM anymore either?

I've read in a previous post during the summer someone had an issue. It turned out that they were trying to upload a picture that was too big. Did you try reducing the size of your picture?

I don't know the current state of affairs, but just a plea... Some of us use Macs and/or Linux. Keep it as open as possible!

How big are the image files you are uploading? 6MB is the limit but 4MB or less work best.

A lot of people have been having problems with Firefox lately. I couldn't see diary pics recently and had to restart computer to solve problem.

So it might not be you. It might be the browser.

Try IE, even if you hate it.

Ken,

I tried a few different pics, they were all under 4 megs.
When I go to submit a diary post with a pic it will just hang and say in the status bar "waiting for bigpumpkins.com"

I have no issues just submitting a text diary post.

Is anybody able to submit a pic with firefox anymore?

UPDATE: I upgraded firefox again and I am able to upload photos with no issues.

In conclusion, firefox still works fine with bp.com for updating diary posts, if your are not able to upload photos with firefox try upgrading to the latest version, or if you just upgraded and now it is not working try downgrading to the previous version you had.
