Quinn, scroll all the way down in the overall pumpkins results. There's a 1508 DMG, but that one's only 14% heavy :)
I think Kevin had pollination issues with his this year. He wasn't the only one around here so not likely the plant's fault.

In addition to soliciting information from growers on the performance of a specific seed, there's a quick and easy way to query this year's records to find a specific seed, cross, pumpkin, etc.
Open up the pumpkins results on the GPC info page.
Press "control" & "F" on your keyboard. This opens up a search window if you are using a "windows-based" computer. Type in "1488" in the search field, hit enter, and you'll find all the hits where 1488 is involved.

901#, way over chart. I wish I would have put it in a different spot - it just looked like what happens when the soil isn't warm enough.

Only problem, it doesn't list the year grown. I saw Breznick's 1508, it was BIG (http://vermontgiants.tripod.com/wo_2011/index.album/dmg-giant-pumpkin?i=14) but had a blossom end split.

Ken Sweet had one that taped 1200 and supposedly weighed 1400 at New Bremen. Bottom fell out of it when we lifted it to put it on the scale. Nice beastly looking thing.

I created a page where you can type in the seed you're looking for and find out how many people reported the seed or how many times it was used for pollination.
Type in 1488 in the text box, wait for the menu, select 1488 Marsh 2009. and then you can see how it did.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Planted the 1488 this year and it was very easy to maintain. Fruit went 14 % over chart.
