My apologies to my good friend, Al Dombrausky of Las Cruces, NM who set the NM State Record of 80.5 inches in 2010 at a GPC weigh-off in Colorado. I incorrectly thought I had set one this year with my 80 inch LG. Which brings up a question. Do we keep STATE records for LGs like we do for pumpkins and squash on backyardgardeners.com? If so, where? I had to go back to the 2010 results for LG on BP to find his record. I wonder if GPC keeps the all time rankings of all the LG growers in order somewhere else-otherwise records get buried in the particular years they were set. Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place?

JCab,
BackYard Gardener had the really nice page for New Mexico, but perhaps there is another need here.... Hmmm. Have to talk to Ken about that....another GPC topic?
