Thanks to bigpumpkins.com and the GPC, pumpkin seed data for 2011 pumpkins that have gone to the scale to date are now searchable on www.pumpkinlink.com. Search Atlantic Giant pumpkin seeds by weight, grower name and cross. Also view progeny for each seed. More than 12,000 seeds are now available in the database.

Awesome, should the Wallace monster be in there from 2011?

I have an email into Ron as I can't remember what the estimated weight was for his pumpkin.

OK I'm all for seeing 1140 near the top since it's been planted maybe 1% as much as 1421 and 1161, but how can 1140 outrank 1421? 1421 has what...6 over 1600. 1140 has zero over 1600. Seems impossible to outrank 1421 based on an average of 10.

I'll check into that Steve. Something looks kind of fishy with that 1140. I'll take a look at the data.

I created a widget at http://tools.pumpkinfanatic.com/BiggestSeeds.php. You can enter the number of seeds you want to analyze, and the results are a little different each time. Looking at the top 10 pumpkins, I get the results below:
1068 Wallace 2003 1231 Pukos 2005 1161 Rodonis 2007 1421 Stelts 1663 998 Pukos 1370 Rose 2003 1385 Jutras 2007 Unknown 991 Urena 2005 1495 Stelts 2010 1093.5 Hunt 2006 904 Stelts 2006 901 Hunt 2007 1634 Werner 2010 998.6 Pukos 2005 1303 Sweet 2009 1678 Hunt 2009 1631.5 McKie 2007
I'm not sure how accurate this list is, but I have used my site to narrow down where I might want to live someday.
