Wizzy, how does being on Facebook differ from being on BP.com? I'm not on Facebook so that's why I'm asking.
Thanks, Mark G.

Not all of us are Facebook-ers or want to be.
Good though if there is another avenue... but I'll stick to here.

Encouraging to see the GPC taking action on a number of fronts, notably the work Wiz is doing on the media/marketing. Nice work dude.

George Janowiak created an IGPGA facebook page and it is a nice avenue for us Illinois growers to share pics and post messages. With the accessibility to facebook for many with smart phones, it just makes sense. Glad to see the GPC also go this route and for those that do not facebook like I did not for a long time, jump in. I am glad I did.

Its a great way to connect with other clubs or organizations..You can become a fan of their page and get up to date information on your page everyday. I would suggest all clubs to make a facebook page and we link together.

Side note from the Facebook topic...but Joze started it! Gary, The Wiz, started growing in the patch and on BP the same year that I did. I've watched him grow from wondering what a pumpkin was, to being a major player, and contributor to the success of this hobby. His time and efforts, spent to help other growers, is huge! Thanks Wiz! (this was not a paid commercial!)

Oh so many kind comments....Nana.... you made me cry...just ask The BiZ....
Many of us try so hard and work so many free hours, giving up patch time and pumpkin poundZ. Volunteering to promote our sport, and grow it bigger. ThoZe that make the smileZ across the mileZ..... I am only one of many....
Your GPC board memberZ - They work so hard, and all for free!
Our GPC President Dave Stelts...he never stops trying and promoting, organiZing and motivating...and he still finds time to grow potential WR's, the paths and ideas that motivate the GPC committee. DAVE Who??....Dave Stelts.... Mr. Catalyst, he iZ OUR energiZer BUNNY.
Take time out to thank your ALL your GPC representatives and area Reps. ....Andy Wolf, Matt Debaccco...Jim Sherwood, Ian Patton, Heino, John Vincent, Don Young.....Eddy the Iceman...and Sally...... Your Weigh Off organiZers, your club representatives, webmasters, Ken on BigPumpkins.com, WOW Ken! So many that make it happen for US.
Thanks those pumpkin movers who lift those fruit and gettem to the scale with out dropping your dreams before they come true. So many out there....You tell them....Thanks for their hard work!
It does hurt at timeZ, to see some of those stinging comments, digs,in our threadZ.....that one may ask....Is it really necessary for the betterment of our sport? There iZ no unsend button.
Perhaps ask yourself....will this help someone grow bigger?
From the words of William ShakeZspeare.....
"Neither a bullier nor bullied be."
Thanks for changing my life to the better.....
If you are growing OUTSIDE, then indeed, you are growing INSIDE...
