every year I have a horrific time trying to locate gypsum in my area. If I do find it it is usually priced outrageously. I see it all over the US at $6-$8 for 40# bags. But here the cheapest I find is $12 for 40# bags.

Does anyone in the area know a good supplier.

I'm also looking into getting a pallet delivered to me if the price is right, if so I would have it to distribute to other growers in the area. Let me know if you are in the area and interested.

Bry, I usually get it from Agway but you can try WH. Millikowski in Stafford, CT. I have not been there in a few years but they typically have everything

gpierce, it helps loosen clay soils and adds calcium without raising the Ph.
Always, I mean always get a soil test before you add anything.

Yup, I always do a soil test. I don't have clay soil here in MA so I wouldn't need any gypsum. My soil tests have never stated that I need any either. Thanks!

Bry, I've purchased it at the Topsfield Co-Op before, but can't remember pricing. I'd be interested in a few bags.

Why use granular gypsum when you can use liquid gypsum? 1 bottle = 200 lbs and you dont break your back!
