I have 2 green squashes for a weigh-off this weekend-both about the same measurements but one is a birdbath. Do birdbaths run heavy? Also do I take the measurements differently on a birdbath? I can only take one of them.

My son's orange birdbath in 2010 went 21% heavy. Very small cavity.

Bring them both if you can, we can weigh them officially, but one will need to be a EXH declaration prior to weighing.....I understand if you only have room for one, two or three. You are coming a long way to weigh JCAB. I think you will have the biggest no matter what you bring....but bring what you can........and may yourZ weigh Heavy....... See you Saturday at the Old Colorado CIty Weigh OFF.....

Birdbaths can go both ways like any other pumpkins. I've seen them go 19% light and 19% heavy.

Wiz be careful of the inline scale as the rules clearly state the fruit is not to have been weighed any other place ! I may be wrong, just don't want to lead some of the flock astay

Calcubit, are you being serious? I know some growers who have scales at home and have already weighed their pumpkins before they get to a contest. Is pre-weighing a fruit at home an issue (against the rules) or are you just messing around with Wizzy?
