where does everyone send their samples ?? I think i remember people talking about a place in cali or newyork ?? I want a place that deals with AG pumpkins and not just my soil PH..THANKS!!

A&L Labs West... you want test S3c and put 'giant pumpkin' in for crop, pay the extra for the bar graph and the recommendations.
Scoop up two cups worth of test, take clean shovel and 5 gallon pail and sample several spots and mix together then take the 2 cups... dry it out, double baggie it, and send it off.

Craig Lembke has really started getting me headed in the right direction. I think what he offers is hard to beat, 36.00 if I remember the price, for the same S3C test Okiegal is talking about. In addition, he will call you and go over the results of your tests and help you understand everything. Follow his directions on what to do and you can go into the next season with confidence. We send ours to A&L Labs in Modesto,CA. Tom from the Extreme Pumpkin Store has offered as a free service to read the soil test and gives you the best advice needed.
