Does anybody know which seed has won the most Howard Dill Awards, maybe the 218 (I think)Sandercock?

From the modern pool I think the 218 and 1059 are pretty good guesses.

I would think the 670 Daigle to be near the top of the list.

The Gerheardt and Rosa are essentially 603 Muller, a great seed. As Jamie points out, the 810 also goes down as one of the great orange makers. Mother to the 670 Daigle which is the grand parent and great parent of the 1290 Poirier. The 772 Poirier is the mother of the 1290 Poirier and 993 V/M and the grand mother to the 1059 V/M. The 670 Daigle was the father to the 218 Sandercock if I'm not mistaken. To me, a 670 x 603 and/or reverse would yield a very nice looking pumpkin.
