People put all kinds of crazy stuff in the bottles they hook up to their vines when they transport their pumpkins to contests. Gatorade & seaweed juice are a couple I've seen. What do you use?

on a short wait ? water, if its a long wait plus long trip? a little fish or seaweed in the bags of water should help. usually once the fruit is picked we wait overnight to travel the next morning. in that case we also put a wet sheet over the fruit that night.
