Al, Is the air show in the same area as the weigh off? And what time does the air show start?

John , if you were sitting in a lawn chair having a brew and watching the weigh off ( at 9:30 am ) you would not need to move at all to watch the " pumpkin drop " ( noon time ) from the WWII planes as they try hitting a floating target in the middle of the number 1 pond . Watch the weather forecast for zip code 04073 on the 24th just in case , rain OR showers will keep them grounded . Giant pumpkin regatta is at 2 pm and that is also right next to the weigh off. After the official regatta race is over YOU MIGHT be able to rent a regatta boat to race for a prize .... maybe a Jim Kuhn SEED ??? HA !
