I would like to say thank you to all the families and friends of the brave men and woman who gave their lives on 9/11. Furthermore, I would like to thank all the families and friends of the brave men and woman who have risked or given their lives in the post 9/11 wars to fight for our countries freedom and liberties we take for granted everyday. God Bless Us All.

I was just getting up after a 32 hour shift. I was called back into work as an emergency. I quickly got geared up and called my Dad and asked him what happened,He told me the towers where gone. My first reaction was sorrow and hurt to see my fellow Americans killed and or hurt. I later learned that my uncle was in the city when the towers where attacked. Luckily he was safe. I still couldn't believe that the attack took place and Americans where killed. The sorrow slowly turned into anger and rage. I wanted to get a hold of those cowards that attacked and murdered our brethren. I spent the week at work and trying to help out the volenteers who would go to ground Zero. I love America and care a lot for our people. When you see the brave heroics of the FDNY it brings a tear to my eye. They where rushing in getting people out. It was one of the reasons I took up playing the Bagpipes. This Sept, 11th. I played at the Bristol Veterans Wall. I had no audience no crowd I played to honor my brothers overseas as well as the NY FIRE Dept. as well as the Police and EMS and those who perished. As I was playing a crowd gathered around and some people began to weep. I certainly can understand the emotions that such music can give people. I was proud to do it.God Bless America...My Kind Of Place!
