Just wondering- If potash is so important toward fruit growth, why is it not used until later on. Wouldn't it make sense to start using it around day 21 when the beast is really taking off. Any opinions on this??

We are putting limited amount of Potash in the patch in April and tilling it in. That gives the granuals and mineral time to break down and get into the soil.
