Hi all, look at those leaves, they make the impression of being really exhausted, they develop yellow spots and are getting dry. Any idea what might have caused them to do so in this particular case? Thanks for your comments. (BTW: It´s only on two out of six plants in that pronounced fashion, and these two plants are not next to each other.)

My best guess would include several issues. The smaller yellow spots and patterns in the leaves could be insect damage .... mites...aphids etc....
It looks like you may also have some downy mildew that has moved through as some point.
That combined with normal heat stress and leaf aging.
I wouldn't sweat it at this point. You have enough health left in your leaves to make to October.

I second the downy mildew with maybe some potassium deficiency also occurring.
During this part of the season diagnosing gets extra difficult as there is often more than one problem occurring.

Hi, thank you for your diagnosis, I´ll have to get a decent soil test done, so that the pumpkins will have a better foundation and more resistance against downy mildey next year.
