Alright, I need some new seeds. I finished 2nd in the state of WV in 2007 with a Wallace seed. Since then I have used seeds from WV pumpkins only, including my own, and every year mine end up slowing and dying around 500-700 pounds measured. This year is no exception. I always end up with one or two late 300-400 #er's that I use for decoration. If anyone has any extra seeds for next year that would give me a shot at my 1000 pounder please let me know. I just believe the genetics of what I have been using are being pushed farther than they can achieve. I have seriously thought about giving up, but I love the hobby too much and just want to get that 1000 pounder. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have LG, AG, Giant Bean and sunflower seeds to offer. Thanks everybody and, not begging, just know how great and kind the people on here are and the quality of seeds is immense and I don't wanna quit this fantastic hobby. PS- I know human error can account for some of my problems, but I also know I am doing a lot of things right and never have any trouble with any of my other giant veggies- Doc Moore 1213 Maple Street Saint Marys, WV 26170

Doc, a little later in the year...once the incredible growers on this site have taken the Monsters to there Local, (and sometimes Un-Local weighoffs), and have harvested the seeds from them...and taken the special care to dry them properly!!!! A lil later in the fall, lot's of free (price of a SASBE) seed offers will pop up on the seed exchange forum, on this site...IMHO...lots of these seeds will be exceptional genetic crosses, well worthy of growing!!! There is also option #2, wait till a lil later (winter), when the auctions start!!! Auctions help the groups to raise money to fund their weighoff's next fawl!!! Prices go up!!! & up & UP!!!! Depending on the quality of seed you are willing to spend the $'s on!!! Also, some exceptional deals are made on auctions!!! Hope this helps!? Peace, Wayne PS...I would suggest you save yer $'s for the KGPG auction!!!
