For any growers who are in the WNEP-TV Channel 16 coverage area and want to meet John Roba he is being interviewed on their "Home and Backyard" program being aired Saturday September 3 at 7:30 pm. John will be promoting his upcoming GPC Weigh Off being held at Roba's Family Farm on Saturday September 17th. They filmed the interview in John's patch which has plenty of nice pumpkins including a couple of orange beauties on my 218; a good one on my 679 and several of Andy Box's seeds as well as other seeds he collected at the Niagara seminar. John is new in the big pumpkin community but I don't think it will be long before he will be a force to be reckoned with. He has the knowledge and facility to grow some Pennsylvania monsters for sure.
