Are you growing a 1622 Young and how is it doing? Mine is 391.5 ott on day 58. I am a big believer in this seed's ability to produce!

Mine is over 300 inches and growing great but has a dill ring in the middle of it. I think if it holds together it will be the biggest pumpkin i have ever grown in my short 2 year growing life.

My 1622 has been an amazing, aggressively growing, huge plant. Unfortunately the main vine split earlier this month, but not before growing a very nice pumpkin. Since the first pumpkin is now cut off from the main, I've got a pumpkin growing on each side of the main - on the 30 foot long side vines.

My 1622 has been great. It was a slow to germinate, but once it did, it took off. Big leaves, about 5 inch across stump, fast grower, excellent fruit shape. If you grow this, you have to keep vines in check, they want to grow and go everywhere. Plant is really aggressive. I got 3 inch rains and fruit handled it fine, no cracks or splits. Would like to grow it again.
