I would love to see some pics from pumpkins past and present of the roughest and most intense skin cantalouping that anyone has seen. I have a 1421 stelts that I will post pics of in a week or so...that is pretty rough and cracked. I worry that it will mature early - even though it has been covered all along and it is only about 65 days old...
weblinks or diary names and dates would be great.

James Carson's 926 that he weighed at Altoona last year had a crazy roughness to it. I believe there is a pic on the AGGC. It was grown on the 1180 Pukos.

I agree with Kevin. Jame's pumpkin looked like it was some sort of wooden freakazoid thing. It didn't look anything like normal pumpkin flesh. I think he said it was from the milk he was feeding it.
