Today I took the deep sea rods to the patch in hopes of catching that prize fish maybe a thresher shark. The rain here in Southern New England has been bad. I think I saw Noah and animals marching two by two....so the rain has dunpped about 4 inches and counting. I suspect the pumpkins will explode or the vines will say "no mas" !! Anyone else getting worried about this?

Kenny, I am not worried at all since I have no plants left. Good luck!

Norm may have the benefit of his hill!! Might be a good thing for run off and drainage.

I'm on a slight hill as well so I'm hoping that helps. Also the last time I watered was on Friday morning knowing it was going to rain a lot on Sunday/Monday.

The rain is an issue the flooding is a big problem. Vines rotting and the dreaded diseases as well a washing away ammendments. I see a split im my future or more vines rotting....ouch....

Same here in CT . 3 days of rain, either some records will be in jeopardy in southern N.E or a lot cracked PKNs.

I have nothing.

Jed, the money spent as well as robbing the plant of needed elements has really hurt my growing this year. My patch drains poorly but seems to take no time when actually flooded it seems that thee ammendments are the first to be washed away.
